Sisters Oregon Real Estate
The Old West survives in Sisters, but when you look past the 1880’s frontier facades, you still find a quaint town on the edge of one of Oregon’s most scenic wildnerness areas. If you’re looking for big blue skies, endless recreation and a small-town feel, Sisters is for you. You may choose to live the country life on an expansive ranch or hidden forest home outside of town, but when you need the amenities of a city, Bend and Redmond are not to far away.
Sisters is the first town you come to after driving through the mountains on the way to Central Oregon and has been drawing visitors and new residents for decades who enjoy the backdrop of majestic mountain peaks and pine forests. Downtown features art galleries, unique shops, great restaurants, and Sisters Coffee Company, a rustic gathering place for locals and those passing through. Recent amenities that have been added include the Sisters Movie House, Shibui Spa, FivePine Lodge & Conference Center, Three Creeks Brewery, a new county library and City Hall and an expansive shopping center featuring Ray’s Food Place.
Sisters is also rich in culture, with a year-round calendar of arts festivals, concerts and crafts fairs. Music fans will absolutely love the Sisters Folk Festival which draws international artists in genres far outside of traditional music. The Sisters Quilt show is the largest of its kind in the world and features a stunning collection of fiber arts, and the the Sisters Rodeo is known as the “Biggest Little Show in the World.”
